In a world where mental health is often stigmatized and overlooked, I have wholeheartedly embraced my role as a BIPOC storyteller, mental health advocate, and dedicated member of the Bloom community. Through my journey as a content strategy consultant for Bloom, I have had the privilege of amplifying a mission that is close to my heart—promoting self-therapy, inclusive content creation, and the cultivation of spaces for healing, reflection, and growth.

Bloom Programs

At the core of my content strategy lies the development of Bloom Programs. These carefully crafted programs, spanning 7, 14, or 30 days, cater to specific topics such as anxiety, healing, and self-love. By providing structured paths, we empower individuals to embark on guided journeys that offer tailored support and resources aligned with their unique needs. It is through these programs that we aim to facilitate healing and personal growth.

Partnering with Therapists

& Mental Health Experts

To enhance the impact of the Bloom Programs, I have recommended fostering collaborations with mental health influencers who bring their invaluable expertise to the table. By partnering with therapists like Dr. Mariel Burque and self-care author/teacher Alex Elle, we infuse additional mindfulness exercises, meditations, and content into the programs. This holistic approach ensures that individuals are equipped with a diverse range of tools and perspectives to navigate their mental well-being.

Live Interactive Workshops

Community engagement and support are fundamental aspects of Bloom. To foster connection, I have also recommended weekly/monthly live interactive workshops facilitated by resident therapists, psychologists, meditation practitioners, yoga instructors, and more. These workshops create a safe space where the Bloom community can come together, learn from experts, and interact with one another. Through this sense of shared experience and accountability, we foster a robust support system that encourages growth and empathy.

In-App Trackers & Habit-Building Tools

Habits play a vital role in our mental well-being, and we acknowledge the importance of habit-building tools. In addition to the existing implementation of mood trackers, I actively advocated for the inclusion of habit and goal trackers within Bloom. By incorporating these in-app trackers and intentions journals, Bloom provides individuals with the means to monitor their progress, enhance productivity, and stay motivated on their mental health journey.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

Inclusivity lies at the heart of Bloom's mission. Recognizing that there is always room for improvement, particularly in ensuring accessibility for neurodivergent individuals, I advocated for optimizing the user experience to be more accommodating and user-friendly. By actively addressing the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals, such as incorporating the usage of voice memos for journal entries, Bloom creates an environment where everyone feels valued, understood, and supported. 


Personalization & Customization


Recognizing a significant gap in Bloom's ability to provide a personalized wellness and self-therapy journey, I passionately advocated for integrating customization options, enhancing the daily habits section, and creating opportunities for consumer personalization. By empowering individuals to tailor their experience to their unique needs and preferences, we foster a sense of ownership and agency in their mental health journey.

Through my work as a content strategy consultant for Bloom, I am honored to contribute to the advancement of mental well-being and the creation of a community that values reflection, empathy, and growth. By implementing these strategies and initiatives, we are collectively building a platform that supports individuals on their mental health journey, fosters inclusivity, and provides the necessary tools and resources for personal transformation and self-empowerment.
